Count Every Hero wrote a letter urging the Michigan House of Representatives to support a bill that would extend voting options for military families.

Lansing, Michigan — Count Every Hero called on members of the Michigan House Representatives to support House Bill 4210. The bill would extend voting options for active-duty military family members living overseas.

In their letter, the national security leaders relayed the long history of service members voting by absentee ballot while deployed and urged the House to continue that tradition.

“We count on our service members to defend our nation, so we owe it to them to count their ballots. We need to ensure our service members and their families are allowed to participate in our elections, no matter where in the world they are.”
