Count Every Hero launched a new campaign called Operation Protect Democracy focused on fighting corruption in politics by reforming the electoral system and ensuring all eligible voters have access to ballots in federal, state, and local elections.

Washington, DC — During the 2020 election cycle, Count Every Hero—a group of distinguished veterans and defense leaders—recognized a critical need to safeguard voting access for military members. The challenges to our democratic system in the wake of the election, including misinformation, the January 6 attack on the Capitol, and attempts to undermine the democratic process, motivated the group to expand their mission to protecting the electoral system and voting rights.

Count Every Hero’s new campaign, Operation Protect Democracy is dedicated to ensuring free and fair elections for all Americans. The former civilian and uniformed national security leaders’ efforts focus on combating misinformation, advocating for secure elections free of foreign interference, and promoting transparency and effective oversight of the electoral system.

As veterans and civil servants who swore to support and defend the Constitution, Count Every Hero understands the importance of a healthy democracy to national security. Their commitment extends beyond military service, and they are now working to preserve the integrity of the democratic process for future generations.
