Count Every Hero asked news anchors from three major networks to commit to refraining from declaring the winner of the 2020 presidential election before all military ballots in the event of a close race.

Washington, DC — Count Every Hero launched a new round of campaign ads just seven days before the election. Their ads push back on demands that a winner be declared on election night. If all military votes are to be counted, TV news hosts must wait until every single military vote is counted.

The ads are slated to launch digitally and ask election night television hosts Bret Baier, Wolf Blitzer, and Rachel Maddow to ignore the hype of election night. Instead—if the election is close—make a commitment to not call the election until every single military service member’s ballot is counted.
